About My Podiatry Clinic

Podiatry and chiropody are specialities that are supplementary to medicine that focuses on feet, including gait-related problems, nail and general foot care, and minor procedures. At My Podiatry Clinic, I offer specialist care on all foot related matters, and have 28 years of experience caring for patients of all ages and needs. 

I offer both home visits and have clinic appointments, depending on what suits your needs, location, and availability. During your first appointment, I’ll do a thorough consultation, followed by an examination and the appropriate treatment. 

I also offer one to one Pilates sessions. My focus is on rehabilitation, postural correction and alignment, balance and core strengthening.  I truly believe it’s never too late for you to feel more flexible and mobile. Not only will you gain ease of movement, but also strength and balance all to aid improving your posture. Pilates also improves your breathing techniques and the health of your pelvic floor.

Mitle Patel has spent her career dedicated to the study of functional movement. She uses her broad base of knowledge and range of accreditations to help clients improve their mobility, pain and quality of life. Through a caring, comprehensive and custom-made approach, Mitle will tailor podiatry and pilates sessions based on your individual needs. 

Mitle Patel is a state registered and HCPC registered podiatrist and chiropodist. She qualified in 1995 from University College of London with a Bachelors of Science Honours degree in Podiatry Medicine. She has worked for in-community NHS and the Royal Free Hospital, in addition to her private practice for 28 years. Mitle specializes in biomechanics, ingrown toenails and nail surgery, as well as verruca treatments and general foot care (including corns, hard skin, and fungal nails.) 

Mitle also has a pilates teaching certification from the Alan Herdman School of Pilates as well as qualifications from Balance Body. She is also a Level 4 personal trainer.
